Author Information: The GPS Journal of AI-Assisted Tax Research

GJAITR publishes well written manuscripts that have navigated its review process and, in the opinion of the editor, are worthy of publication. The ultimate decision to publish or not to publish a manuscript is exclusively the responsibility of the journal’s editors

Manuscript lengths that enter the review process will have a minimum of 4,000 words and a maximum of 7,000 words. The total word count includes the title, the abstract, the body of the paper, any tables and figures, and the reference section.

Each submitted paper must have an abstract (which is titled “Abstract”), an introduction (which is titled “Introduction”), appropriate headers throughout the paper, a conclusion section (which is titled “Conclusion”), a section describing areas for future research (which is titled “Future Research Areas”), and a “References” section. Empirical papers will have the following section titles: “Methodology” and “Results” or “Discussion.”

GJAITR requires that each manuscript submission is made using a Word file with all in-text and end-of-text citations being formatted in a manner that is consistent with APA 7th edition. Also, GJAITR requires Arial for the use of all fonts. The font sizes are prescribed below:

Images must be in the jpeg or png formats and placed in the Word file where desired. Tables will also be placed in the Word file where desired and can be either formatted using the table tools in Word or using Excel.

Each page should be numbered in the footer section.

Published manuscripts will be retracted whenever research misconduct has been established. GPS Research Publishers Inc. defines research misconduct very broadly. Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to, plagiarism, data manipulation, data massaging, omitted citations, honorary authorships, misrepresentation of author information, undisclosed use of software (including AI), and any other form of dishonesty.

All authors must transfer the copyright of their accepted paper to GPS Research Publishers Inc. before this paper can be published in this journal. Since this journal publishes only in the open access forum, GPR Research Publishers Inc. grants permission to the authors to share the published versions of their papers on social media and via email whenever they deem appropriate.

We do not charge a fee for publishing papers in our journals. We do require payment of a submission fee of US $100 per paper submitted. As of August 15, 2025, we are waiving all submission fees.

The journal pages will host advertisements in order to allow us to keep the research publicly available and keep our submission fees low.
